Courteous and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Grounds are well kept, and groomed. You can tell the owners take great pride in their establishment. I enjoy the outdoor sitting area. Conveniently located right across from the Hawkins city park. This is my 10th of many more stays to come. If you visit, make sure to reserve room number one. Awesome.!

Prices are low rooms are very clean and well kept, the motel is quiet and safe. Everyone that stays is like family and very friendly. The owner is nice and reasonable.
Great place — the rooms are spacious and attractively decorated. The king-size beds are firm and comfortable. It's clean, safe, and quiet — and definitely affordable for short- and long-term stays. Rooms have small alcoves with desks that are perfect for setting up laptops or "light" food preparation, and the standard dorm-style refrigerators and microwaves are more than adequate. The manager and his wife are always friendly and willing to help with any needs you might have. The motel itself is one block from downtown Hawkins, Texas — which is the epitome of "small town USA" and could easily have been the subject of Mellencamp's "Small Town". There's a playground across the street, and the community center Pavilion is also there. The larger towns of Lindale and Mineola are short drives away, and the cities of Tyler and Longview also easily reached as well.
